IMF downgrades growth forecast to 4.4% amid Omicron surge
The International Monetary Fund on Tuesday projected the global economy to grow by 4.4 percent in 2022, down by 0.5 percentage points from its October forecast, according to a newly released update of its world economic outlook report.
