Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar is heading to Brussels, Belgium to attend a two-day NATO defense ministers meeting at the alliance's headquarters, the Defense Ministry said Tuesday.
Akar will also hold various bilateral meetings, the ministry said in a statement.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is among those that Akar plans to meet at the gathering on Wednesday and Thursday.
