Turkey's ambassador to Benin dies of heart attack

Turgut Kural, Turkey's ambassador to Benin, died of a heart attack late Tuesday, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on Wednesday.
"Our ambassador in Benin Turgut Kural passed away last night due to a heart attack. We are deep in sorrow. May Allah keep his soul in restful peace. I express my condolences to his family," Çavuşoğlu said on his Twitter account.
Kural was born in Rome in 1966.
After graduating from Ankara University's International Relations Department, Kural began duty at the Foreign Ministry in 1991.
Kural had been Turkey's ambassador to the West African country of Benin since 2014.
