F1 driver Gasly extends Alpine stay to end of 2028

French driver Pierre Gasly has signed a multi-year contract extension with Alpine, reaffirming his long-term commitment despite the team currently sitting last in the constructors’ standings.

French driver Pierre Gasly has signed a contract extension with Alpine.

The new deal, announced at this weekend's Italian Grand Prix, secures Gasly's future with Alpine until the end of the 2028 season.

Alpine are 10th and last in the constructors' championship.

But Gasly said: "I want to be here (at Alpine) in years to come and deliver on our joint objective: to win races and world championships."
