Health Minister Koca: Another group of Palestinian patients, mostly children, to be brought from Gaza to Türkiye

Fahrettin Koca, the health minister, has shared that we are actively working towards bringing a new group of patients from Gaza to Türkiye. This group, primarily consisting of children, is expected to be evacuated tomorrow.

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca announced on Tuesday that they continue efforts to bring another group of patients, mostly children, from Gaza to Türkiye, who will be evacuated tomorrow.

The technical delegation that will conduct feasibility studies for the field hospital planned to be established by Türkiye in Gaza arrived in Gaza through Egypt this morning.

In a statement from diplomatic sources, it was mentioned, "Depending on the findings of our delegation, we plan to put the hospital into operation as soon as possible."

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca stated in his announcement that the teams in Gaza completed their work in two out of three regions as of this morning.

Minister Koca's statements are as follows:

"Our teams in Gaza have completed their work in two out of three regions as of this morning. Based on the results of these studies, we will decide where our Field Hospitals will be established and determine the infrastructure for the health services to be provided.

Meanwhile, we continue the necessary work to bring another group of patients, especially children, to Türkiye tomorrow through the Gaza border crossing."

Previously, 88 patients, including 62 escorts, were brought to Türkiye from Gaza.
