New documents of Jeffrey Epstein exposed influential figures

The last batch of court documents related to accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein has been released, giving the public a list of high-profile names he was allegedly tied to, including former US presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump as well as former Vice President Al Gore. More than 4,500 pages have now been unsealed by a federal judge as part of a defamation lawsuit against Epstein confidant Ghislaine Maxwell that was settled out of court in 2017. Maxwell is now serving a 20-year federal prison sentence for sex trafficking, which she is appealing. The unsealed documents include information that had previously been redacted and contain the names of more than 150 people connected to or mentioned in legal proceedings involving Epstein. The documentation allegedly focused on paying teenage girls and young women to have sex with Epstein and other wealthy and powerful men under the pretense of massage therapy, according to multiple media outlets. The final batch of seven documents released consisted of 1,500 pages. In them, sex trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre claimed that Epstein paid her $15,000 in 2011 to have sex with Britain's Prince Andrew, who has repeatedly denied they had sex and that he had ever met Giuffre. Giuffre also claimed she had sex multiple times with billionaire retail magnate Leslie Wexner, the founder of Bath & Body Works, an allegation Wexner has constantly denied. In the documents, Giuffre also said she had dinner with President Bill Clinton on Epstein's private island in the US Virgin Islands, although she never witnessed the former president having sex with anyone. Clinton has previously denied he was ever on the island and did not have any knowledge of criminal activity by Epstein. Giuffre also claimed that former Clinton Vice President Al Gore and his wife Tipper were guests on the island but said they did not engage in any sexual acts. A spokesperson for Al Gore said Gore did not know or meet Epstein and that he was never in any of his homes or properties. Donald Trump was also included in the documents. Giuffre testified that she met the former president but never witnessed Trump taking part in any sexual activity. Trump took to his social media platform in the wake of the Epstein documents that were released. He also responded to fake images that were generated by artificial intelligence showing Trump with Epstein on his private plane. 'This is A.I., and it is very dangerous for our Country!' said Trump. 'Also, I was never on Epstein's Plane, or at his 'stupid' island. Strong Laws ought to be developed against A.I. It will be a big and very dangerous problem in the future!' Trump has previously said that he had not been in touch with Epstein for 15 years before his death. In 2019, Epstein hanged himself in a New York City jail cell as he awaited trial on multiple sex-trafficking charges.
