Israel closes Al-Aqsa Mosque amid ongoing clashes with Iran
Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem has been closed to worshippers since Friday morning. While Israel cites "security" concerns, Palestinians fear this move is part of a broader attempt to permanently alter the status of the holy site.
Commenting on the situation, Abu Diab said Israel is applying a double standard: "Jewish worshippers have free access to the Western Wall, but we are being denied entry to our sacred site."
