In Türkiye's Gaziantep, flights could not be made for 12 hours due to the "suspicious object" allegedly detected by the radar of a passenger plane.
According to the information received, the radar of a plane arriving at Gaziantep Airport at midnight detected an unidentified object at 9,000 feet.
After the pilots reported the situation to Gaziantep Air Traffic Control Tower, the plane in question was diverted to Adana.
Other flights from Gaziantep Airport were also diverted to Adana and Şanlıurfa.
Since the night, 26 flights from Gaziantep Airport, 13 of which are departures and 13 of which are landing, have been cancelled. Gaziantep Airport State Airports Authority, NOTAM has been published the report.
