Direct hit with Çakır from Bayraktar Akıncı

Bayraktar AKINCI successfully completed another test firing with the domestically developed Çakır cruise missile by Roketsan. Bayraktar AKINCI UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) continues the successful integration of the Çakır Cruise Missile as part of the integration of new ammunition and systems. With its national jet engine, the Çakır Cruise Missile can effectively target strategic land and sea targets from kilometers away when integrated with Bayraktar AKINCI. Bayraktar AKINCI, diversified and upgraded its arsenal, enhancing its strategic deterrence capability. In the test conducted on February 24th, Bayraktar AKINCI C remained airborne for more than 1 hour. During the flight, aerodynamic parameter steps were successfully tested. With a total power of 1700 HP, consisting of 2 X 850 HP, Bayraktar AKINCI C will be the most effective and capable combat platform in its class. Bayraktar AKINCI UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), which made its first flight on December 6, 2019, entered service on August 29, 2021. In the recent period, Bayraktar AKINCI A with 2X450 HP power and Bayraktar AKINCI B with 2X750 HP power have started to be included in the inventory of friendly and allied countries, especially Azerbaijan, in addition to the Turkish security forces. Baykar, Türkiye's first indigenous unmanned aerial vehicles producer, has successfully completed 40,000 flight hours with its domestically developed and unique Bayraktar AKINCI UAV, marking another important milestone in Turkish aviation history. Bayraktar AKINCI, with a national aviation altitude record of 45,118 feet, flew over three countries in 2023 on its way to Baku. Taking off from Tekirdağ-Çorlu for this flight, the UAV traversed Türkiye, Georgia, and Azerbaijan from end to end.
