World Nomad Games in Türkiye attracts nearly 1 million visitors
The lakeside town of Iznik in northwestern Bursa province hosted the four-day competition of World Nomad Games through Sunday following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The mission of the games is to preserve the ethnoculture, diversity and originality of the people to "foster a more tolerant and open relationship between people," the World Nomad Games said on its website.

The traditional Turkic games featured at least 3,000 athletes from 102 countries and included horse competitions, wrestling and archery.
