The natural phenomenon called northern lights occurred in the capital of Sweden, Stockholm. Different shades of green light floated in the skies of the city, forming a visual feast.
President of the Sweden Örebro Astronomy Department Kjell Olauson said that a rupture and crack was seen in the Earth's magnetic field, causing northern lights to be strongly reflected in the sky.
"According to the latest reports, there has been a rupture in the magnetic field of the Earth. With the strong wind blowing, it turned into a dance of light that can be seen in Northern Europe," Olauson said, underlining his surprise at the latest data.
