Hatchings continue in loggerhead sea turtle nests in Antalya
Approximately 4,500 loggerhead sea turtle nests have been identified in the Manavgat, Belek, and Kundu-Lara regions of Antalya, and so far, 25,000 hatchlings from approximately 2,000 opened nests have met the sea.
Along the Mediterranean coasts, the journey of loggerhead sea turtle hatchlings, an endangered species, continues as they emerge from their nests under the sand and make their way to the blue waters.
