Drought in Poland lowers water levels in the Mucharz Reservoir
In the Mucharz Reservoir near Zembrzyce in southern Poland, water levels have significantly dropped due to the summer season with record temperatures and insufficient rainfall.
As a result of the water level receding by more than a meter in the Mucharz Reservoir basin, vast sandy areas and previously submerged coastal sections have emerged.
