The five pups, born in July, were named Bryg, Bosman, and Brzask, while the two females were named Burza and Bryza.
This is the first successful result in conservation and breeding efforts for the species, which was once common in agricultural areas but whose population has been rapidly declining due to habitat loss, changes in agricultural practices, and inadequate nutrition.
