On Thursday, a 73-member Palestinian team departed for Türkiye and Syria to help in ongoing quake relief and rescue efforts.
The team, which includes rescuers, doctors, and first-aid providers from the Palestine Red Crescent Society, split into two groups, with one heading to Türkiye and the other to Syria.
At least 18,991 people were killed and 75,523 others injured by two strong earthquakes that jolted southern Türkiye earlier this week, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Friday.
