The EU on Wednesday said it had summoned Russia's top diplomat in Brussels over an attempted "hybrid attack" involving an explosive-laden drone at a German airport last month.

"We are discussing the Leipzig attacks, and also it is clear that it has all the hallmarks of state-sponsored terrorism. The question is, what do we do about this? We have already summoned the Russian ambassador," EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said at the start of a meeting of the bloc's foreign ministers in Ireland.
