Russia's air defense units intercepted a drone heading towards Moscow, with debris falling at an undisclosed location, according to Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

Russia's air defence units destroyed a drone flying towards Moscow, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Tuesday on the Telegram messaging app.

"Emergency services are working at the site where the debris fell," Sobyanin said.
