Zelensky says Russian strike on Ukraine prison was 'deliberate'
President Zelensky condemned a Russian airstrike on a Ukrainian prison as a deliberate attack on civilians, urging that Russia be forced to stop the killing and pursue peace.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said Tuesday that a Russian airstrike on a prison in Ukraine was "not accidental" and that Russia "must be compelled to stop the killing and make peace."
"It was a deliberate strike, intentional, not accidental. The Russians could not have been unaware that they were targeting civilians in that facility," Zelensky said in a statement on social media.
