Turkish stock exchange begins week down
Türkiye’s benchmark BIST 100 index fell 1.5% Monday to 10,568 points, with the lira trading at 41.27 to the dollar and gold priced at $3,609.90 per ounce.

Türkiye's benchmark stock opened Monday at 10.568,33 points, down 1.5% or 151.16 points.
On Friday, the BIST 100 was down 0.92% at 10,729.49 points with a daily transaction volume of 122.1 billion Turkish liras ($2.96 billion).
As of 10.20 am local time (0720GMT), exchange rates stood at 41.2650 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.4430 to the euro, and 55.8330 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,609.90, while Brent crude oil was trading at $66.45 per barrel.
