Seoul passes law to ban sending balloons to North Korea
South Korea has passed an amendment to the Aviation Safety Act banning all unmanned balloons from no-fly zones — a move aimed at stopping activists from sending anti-Pyongyang leaflets across the border, the unification ministry said Wednesday.

South Korea has passed a law banning unmanned balloons from no-fly zones, Seoul's unification ministry said Wednesday, in a move expected to curb activists from flying anti-Pyongyang leaflets across the border.
"An amendment to the Aviation Safety Act, which bans the flight of all unmanned free balloons in no-fly zones, was passed at a plenary session of the National Assembly" on Tuesday, it said in a statement sent to AFP.
