US President Joe Biden called for a fresh push to ban sales of assault-style weapons to civilians as he addressed supporters in Pennsylvania Tuesday on his policies for curbing gun crime.
"I'm determined to ban assault weapons in this country," he said on the first of three trips in the coming days to the key swing state ahead of November's midterm elections.
