Turkish FM Fidan attends informal meeting of Organization of Turkic States counterparts
On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly on Friday, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan joined fellow foreign ministers from the Organization of Turkic States for an informal council meeting.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Friday attended an informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly's current high-level week.
According to Turkish Foreign Ministry sources, Fidan took part in the informal meeting of the OTS Council of Foreign Ministers in New York.
No further details were as yet provided about the meeting.
Besides Türkiye, the Organization of Turkic States' member states are Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
Additionally, Hungary, Turkmenistan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) have observer status.
