A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck off western Mexico on Tuesday, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).
The earthquake struck 75 kilometers (46.6 miles) south-southwest of El Progreso, USGS said.
It occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles).
There were no immediate reports of casualties or major damage.
