French President Emmanuel Macron said on Wednesday that Norway had agreed to join its nuclear umbrella, becoming the latest country to receive France's nuclear protection amid European concerns over U.S. commitment to security in the region.
In March, France offered to extend the protection of its nuclear umbrella to other European countries.
