US to assist with traffic buildup in Strait of Hormuz: Trump
President Trump announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran, promising US assistance with Strait of Hormuz traffic and economic reconstruction for Iran.

The US will be helping with the traffic buildup in the Strait of Hormuz, President Donald Trump said Wednesday, following the newly agreed two-week ceasefire with Iran.
"There will be lots of positive action! Big money will be made. Iran can start the reconstruction process," he said on his Truth Social platform.
Trump announced Tuesday that he agreed "to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks."
