China's Xi hosts Ireland’s premier in Beijing

Chinese President Xi Jinping hosted Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin on Monday in Beijing, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
The two leaders discussed bilateral ties and enhancing cooperation in various sectors, including trade and economy.
Martin arrived in the Chinese capital on Sunday for a five-day official visit, the first visit by an Irish leader in 14 years.
