Trump on meeting with Putin: Don't want to have a wasted meeting
US President Donald Trump said Tuesday the possibility of a fruitless meeting had led him to put plans for a summit with Russia's President Vladimir Putin on hold.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday, when asked why his planned summit in Hungary with Russian President Vladimir Putin was put on hold, said he did not want to have a wasted meeting.
Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump said he had not made a determination about the meeting, which the president had wanted to hold soon in Budapest.
