Magnitude 6.7 earthquake hits Vanuatu

An earthquake of magnitude 6.7 hit Vanuatu, a South Pacific Ocean nation, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said on Wednesday.
The earthquake, with its epicenter in Port-Olry, struck the country in early morning, USGS said.
Its depth was recorded at nearly 10 kilometers (6.2 miles).
