Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday that Ukraine has formed the first-ever drone fleet in the Black Sea.
"For the first time in the world, a fleet of marine drones -- the Ukrainian fleet -- began operating in the Black Sea," Zelensky said on Telegram.
He said that the fleet would ensure the security of cargo vessels.
Thanks to Ukraine's efforts, Russia cannot use the Black Sea for military purposes, Zelensky said, urging international partners to further enhance cooperation.
The Danube region is also becoming critical for global security, he said.
