According to information released on Russia-based Sputnik news, it was claimed that lieutenant commander Yair Edou Netanyahu, who is said to be the nephew of the Israeli prime minister, lost his life during the intense conflict with the Qassam Brigades in Gaza.
These unverified reports also alleged that Yair Edou Netanyahu served as the leader of a specialized deep penetration sniper unit in Gaza, known as the 'dangerous sniper' team.
