Georgia police on Wednesday ordered demonstrators gathered in the capital Tbilisi in protest at plans to introduce a controversial "foreign agent" bill to disperse, an AFP reporter saw.
Police used water cannon and tear gas on the demonstrators outside the city's parliament, where lawmakers a day earlier backed the draft law which critics say is reminiscent of Russian legislation used to silence critics.
