Russia withdrew over 30,000 troops to eastern bank of Dnipro river - defence ministry
Russia said Friday it had withdrawn more than 30,000 troops in Ukraine's southern region of Kherson, including the regional capital, as Kyiv said its forces were entering the city. "In total, more than 30,000 Russian servicemen, about 5,000 pieces of hardware and military equipment and materiel have been withdrawn," the defence ministry said.

Russia's defence ministry said on Friday that more than 30,000 of its servicemen have been withdrawn to the eastern bank of the Dnipro River, Interfax news agency reported.
Russia's defence ministry said earlier on Friday it had completed the withdrawal of troops from the western bank of the Dnipro river in Ukraine's southern Kherson region.
