Azeri forces begin to destroy military facilities in Armenia that target civilian settlements

Azerbaijan's defence ministry said Wednesday that it had destroyed two missile launch sites in Armenia that were being used to target civilian areas during the fighting over Nagorno-Karabakh, and vowing to hit all military facilities in Armenia that target Azerbaijan's civilian settlements.

Armenia's defense ministry confirmed that its missile launch sites had been targeted.

The renewed fighting in and around Nagorno-Karabakh is the worst since a 1994 ceasefire ended a war over the breakaway region that killed at least 30,000.
