YPG/PKK terror group's ringleader on Tuesday said they are considering a partnership with the Bashar al-Assad regime, as Turkey is set to launch a military operation east of the Euphrates river in northern Syria, according to websites known to be belonging to the terror group.

Mazlum Abdi, who is known in the PKK with his nom de guerre Şahin Cilo, is the ringleader of YPG terror group that operates under the umbrella of SDF.

The YPG/PKK terror group uses the acronym SDF as a cover for receiving U.S. support.

YPG, the Syrian branch of PKK terror group that has been designated terrorist by the U.S. and EU for decades, has arbitrarily killed civilians and raped women during the ongoing civil war in Syria and recruited child soldiers in its so-called fight against Daesh, according to UN reports.

The terror group is in search of a cooperation with the Assad regime, as Turkey has finalized preparations to launch the operation to create a safe zone east of the Euphrates River.

Previously, YPG/PKK had negotiated with Bashar al-Assad regime in 2018 during Turkey's Olive Branch operations in northwestern Syria, but the negotiations achieved no results.

Turkey plans to resettle 2 million Syrians in a 30-kilometer-wide safe zone (19 miles) to be set up in Syria, stretching from the Euphrates River to the Iraqi border, including Manbij.

Since 2016, Turkey's Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch operations in northwestern Syria have liberated the region from YPG/PKK and Daesh terrorists, making it possible for nearly 400,000 Syrians who fled the violence to return home to western Syria.

In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the European Union -- has been responsible for the deaths 40,000 people, including women, children and infants. The YPG is the Syrian branch of the PKK terrorist organization.
