Chief of Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces Gen. Yaşar Güler received Pakistan's Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gen. Zubair Mahmood Hayat, as official guest in Ankara on Tuesday.
Both of them later called on National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, to hold a joint meeting.
Gen. Güler received Hayat with a military ceremony, the Turkish Armed Forces said on Twitter.
