Turkish charity provides humanitarian aid in Kyrgyzstan

Turkish Red Crescent provided 750 families with aid in Kyrgyzstan on Friday.

It distributed shopping coupons to needy families.

Chinara Ergasheva, a Kyrgyz woman, told Anadolu Agency that she is thankful to Turkey and Red Crescent for the food aid.

The Turkish charity also hosted an iftar, fast-breaking dinner, for 500 Kyrgyz people.

Azamat Bayalinov, the head of Kyrgyz Red Crescent, Ibrahim Özer, the deputy manager of Turkish Red Crescent, Turkey's ambassador in Bishkek Cengiz Kamil Fırat and officials were also present at the dinner.

Turkish Red Crescent also distributed food packages in an organization held by the Kyrgyzstan Ahiska Turks Association.

Ibrahim Sultanov, a 92-year-old Ahiska Turk, said: "I wish God bestows [Turkish President] Recep Tayyip Erdoğan who supports great Turkish world with long life."
