Turkey on Saturday condemned a terrorist attack which killed over a dozen people in northern Afghanistan.
"We condemn this heinous terrorist attack and wish Allah's mercy upon those who lost their lives, a speedy recovery to the wounded, and convey our condolences to the friendly Government and brotherly people of Afghanistan," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
At least 13 people were killed and more than 30 wounded in a blast at a campaign rally in the northern Afghan province of Takhar, officials confirmed on Saturday.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack. The Taliban has warned Afghans against taking part in the Oct. 20 polls.
