Top Democrat slams FBI probe into Supreme Court nominee as 'incomplete'
U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, said on Thursday that the FBI report on sexual miscondut allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was the "product of an incomplete investigation." "The most notable part of this report is what's not in it," Feinstein said, adding that Kavanaugh, his accuser Christine Blasey Ford and several witnesses had not been interviewed by investigators.

Top Democrats on Thursday denounced the latest FBI investigation into sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh as "incomplete" and "limited."
"It looks to be a product of an incomplete investigation that was limited, perhaps by the White House, I don't know," said Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein of California.
"We had many fears that this was a very limited process," said Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer of New York. "Those fears have been realized."
A top Republican senator, Chuck Grassley of Iowa, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said earlier Thursday after reviewing the FBI report that it showed "no hint of misconduct" by the 53-year-old Kavanaugh and called for the full Senate to vote on his nomination.
