A man believed to be a former bodyguard of deceased al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden is facing a terrorism investigation in his homeland Tunisia, after he was deported from Germany, a spokesman for the public prosecutor told dpa.
Sami A. is currently being questioned by anti-terrorism prosecutors "because of information that he was involved in extremist activities in Germany and also underwent military training in Afghanistan," Sufian al-Sulaiti said.
