Jordan, US hold talks on Mideast developments

Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Wednesday held talks in Amman with U.S. Undersecretary of Defense for Policy John C. Rood.
The talks tackled ways to enhance bilateral relations and regional developments, the official Petra news agency reported.
The two sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between the two countries to achieve security and stability in the region, the agency said.
On Tuesday, White House senior adviser and President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and U.S. special envoy Jason Greenblatt held talks in Amman with King Abdullah II in Amman on regional developments and bilateral relations.
