4 PKK terrorists killed in eastern Turkey

Turkish jets killed four PKK terrorists in eastern Turkey, the military announced on Saturday.
In a statement, the Turkish General Staff said the air operation was carried out in the Genç district of Bingöl province on Friday.
The airstrikes killed four PKK terrorists thought to be preparing an attack, the statement added.
The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and EU -- resumed its armed campaign against Turkey in July 2015. Since then, it has been responsible for the deaths of more than 1,200 Turkish security personnel and civilians.
