Turkish Air Force killed at least four PKK terrorists Thursday in northern Iraq, a statement said.
According to the statement by Turkish General Staff, the airstrikes were carried out in Sinat-Haftanin region.
One terrorist hideout and three weapon depots were also destroyed in the operation.
Elsewhere, one Turkish soldier was injured when an improvised explosive device went off during a counter-terrorism operation in Yayladere district of eastern Bingol province, a security source told Anadolu Agency on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media.
The soldier was taken to the Elazig Firat University hospital.
More than 1,200 people, including security personnel and civilians, have lost their lives since the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and EU -- resumed its decades-long armed campaign in July 2015.
