Wildfires rage across Algeria, Greece and Italy
Wildfires are burning through the Mediterranean, from Algeria to Greece, leaving death and destruction in their midst. At least 65 people have been killed in northern Algeria since Monday. The hardest hit area has been the mountainous Kabylie region where desperate villagers used water hoses and tree branches to battle the encroaching flames.
