WHO reiterates call for pandemic preparedness treaty
"The defining characteristic of the pandemic is the lack of sharing of data, information, pathogens, technologies and resources. These are the challenges we have been facing, since the pandemic started. A treaty would foster improved sharing trust and accountability," Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus -- World Health Organization Director-General -- said in a statement.
