White House aims to change regime in oil-rich Venezuela - author

Speaking to A News via a video talk, Miguel Tinker Salas -- the author of "Venezuela, What Everyone Needs to Know" -- on Wednesday made remarkable comments related to U.S. intervening in Venezuela's domestic affairs.

Salas, who is a Venezuelan historian and professor at Pomona College in Claremont, California, said his remarks that the Trump government aimed to change regime in oil-rich Venezuela by replacing incumbent President Nicolas Maduro with senior opposition figure.
