Volcano erupts near city in eastern Congo, causing panic
The volcano Mount Nyiragongo erupted in a national park in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo on Saturday evening, causing widespread panic in the city nearby. The active volcano is located in the Virunga National Park, less than 20 kilometres north of Goma and near to the Rwandan border.
