The U.S. state department has recently released country reports on terrorism in 2018.
The annual, congressionally-mandated report has indicated that Turkey continued its efforts to defeat terrorist organizations both inside and outside its borders, including PKK and Daesh.
The report has termed Turkey as an active contributor in international counterterrorism struggle.
According to the report, Turkey is an active member of the global coalition to defeat Daesh, co-chairs the defeat-Daesh coalition foreign terrorist fighter working group, and continues to provide access to its airspace and facilities for operations in Iraq and Syria.
