UK's Queen, Spain's King promote ties
First Spain state visit to Britain in 31 years.
Spain's King Felipe hailed "deep and solid ties of friendship" that could help resolve "discrepancies" between his country and Britain at a Buckingham Palace state banquet on Wednesday. Queen Elizabeth, who hosted the banquet, toasted a relationship between both countries "founded on such great strengths and common interests", adding that there were matters on which they have not "always seen eye to eye".
