Türkiye, TRNC mark 49th anniversary of Cyprus Peace Operation
Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus have recently commemorated the 49th anniversary of the Turkish Armed Forces' Peace Operation on the island. The operation, which began at dawn on July 20, 1974, played a crucial role in rescuing both Turkish and Greek Cypriots from the oppressive regime that prevailed at the time.
