U.S. President Donald Trump, in France, made his own harsh detour into domestic politics in an interview with Fox news' Laura Ingraham taped at Normandy American Cemetery just before thursday's D-Day event.
The President mocked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as "nervous Nancy" and a "disaster" and said Special Counsel Robert Mueller, himself a Vietnam War hero, had made "a fool out of himself" with his investigation of the president.
U.S. President Donald Trump said as commenting on Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi: "She's a disaster. And she made a statement. It was a horrible, nasty, vicious statement while I'm overseas. Now if I made any statement about anybody, it would be like a.. why would he do that when he's overseas? She did it when, she is a terrible person and I'll tell you and her name, it's Nervous Nancy because she's a nervous wreck..."Pelosi was among the U.S. lawmakers attending the D-Day observances.
